Anne Beadell Highway and Hanging Garden Transfer

This is one of the roads surveyed by Len Beadell in the 1950's and early 60's, before that time there were no roads at all. Put in for rocket and nuclear tests many of these roads have had no maintenance since the activities finished 60 years ago and only exist as silly people want to drive across them and wreck their cars. Len is considered as the last explorer. Although just a government surveyor he wrote the experiences down in an entraining way that have become popular books and preserved that part of Australian history. He would spend weeks alone in areas that had not been travelled by non indigenous people before. Last time I trans versed the highway I listened to Michael Hoenigs Hanging Garden Transfer and thought it would be good to use with a video. Have done the highways over the last 30 years and will put up some more expeditions.
