The Magic of MoDem Festival – A Personal Journey The MoDem Festival holds a deeply special place in my heart. Since 2018, I’ve been honored to perform there every year. Not only that, but the festival’s founder has consistently given me prime nighttime slots and extended set times ranging from 3 to 4.5 hours. This is truly a dream for any artist! MoDem takes place on a breathtaking site in Croatia, nestled in the karst landscape by a crystal-clear, icy river. With just 8000 attendees, it creates an intimate yet vibrant atmosphere filled with artists, creatives, and free-spirited individuals. Everyone is encouraged to live their authentic selves, and for many, it becomes a week of transformation and healing that stays with them long after the festival ends. This was true for me as well. My first visit in 2018 left me overwhelmed by the incredible diversity of people and their energies. But as the days passed, I found my rhythm, connecting with this unique, awakened community. Every year since then has felt like a family reunion—a spiritual and artistic recharge. The attention to detail and impeccable organization make this festival a truly unparalleled experience, feeling far grander than its modest size would suggest. Over the seven performances I’ve had at MoDem, my style has evolved immensely. Originally rooted in pure techno, I’ve been profoundly inspired by the psychedelic subgenres I encountered here, pushing my artistry to new heights. 2024 was particularly significant for me. I was emerging from a personal crisis, and my father had passed away just before the festival. Despite this, I decided to attend—and it was transformative. I discovered deeper insights about myself and delivered a performance I will never forget. As if that weren’t enough, I received a 30-minute video recording of my set—professionally captured and of stunning quality. It’s rare to get such incredible footage from a gig, as most videos are short, shaky, or interrupted by background noise. But this video is exceptional. The visuals are otherworldly, making it feel like it was recorded on a different planet. The visuals were created by the legendary Italian duo Delta Process, whose work during my set was truly breathtaking. It’s an honor to have such talented artists accompany my music. My deepest gratitude goes to Delta Process, as well as to Tomy and Tyree, the founders of MoDem, for their friendship and for enriching my life and artistic journey in ways I cannot express. Finally, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the most important person in my life, my girlfriend Alexandra, who continuously supports me in everything I do.. Much love to all of you!
