The "Little Office" is a Marian devotion form of meditation that grew from the Holy Hours. Many Religious pray the "Little Office" including Benedictans & Carmelites. If you wear the Brown Scapular and follow the Sabbatine Privilege, you may have heard of this prayer. Traditionally you are allowed to either Pray the "Little Office" daily, OR abstain from meat on Wednesdays & Fridays. There are many variations to the "Little Office" so make sure you're following along and keeping an eye on what time of year you're saying the prayer.
