No car? No problem! From Faulconbridge Station it’s just a short, easy 400mtr walk to the start of this hike that leads you through classic Blue Mountains bushland to two stunning cascades — Clarinda and Numantia Falls! Join us as we explore the peaceful beauty of Clarinda Falls and the dramatic cascade of Numantia Falls, tucked away in the lower Blue Mountains. This moderately easy track winds through lush eucalyptus forest, past sandstone overhangs, and into cool fern-filled gullies. Clarinda Falls is perfect for a peaceful pause, while Numantia Falls—set against soaring cliffs—is a breathtaking reward for the short hike in. This track has been closed for a number of years due to a rockslip and has recently reopened. This is a perfect half-day adventure for beginners, families, or anyone after a quick nature escape from Sydney. Best visited after recent rain, both waterfalls come alive with sound and motion, and the peaceful bush setting makes it feel a world away. 🎒 No car? No worries. Hop off at Faulconbridge Station and you’re just minutes from the trailhead. You can return the way you came for a shorter walk, or, if you're up for more adventure, turn this into a longer trek by continuing along the Victory Track and exiting via the Sassafras Gully Walking Track to Springwood Train Station. This scenic extension offers even more of the Blue Mountains' natural beauty and makes for a satisfying point-to-point journey. Of course, visiting both these falls is best done after good rain to see them at their best.
