For those of you who purchased the new 2018 iPad Pro, hoping that the new USB C port would open up a new word of possibilities for accessories, devices and storage, you were probably equally as upset as me, when you discovered that Apple has kept the port just as locked down as the lightning port of previous generations. Although this trick won't fix the core of iOS' shortcomings on the iPad and the lack of a true filesystem, it will at least allow you to use an eternal storage device to store photos and videos and transfer them to your iPad when it's time to use them with editing programs.
