Nobody Has Beaten Hoppers’ Triple "Belt Buster" Burger Challenge in Waconia Since 2008!!

American professional eater Randy Santel versus Hoppers Bar's Triple "Belt Buster" Bacon Double Cheeseburger Challenge at Hoppers Bar & Grill in Waconia, Minnesota which is to the southeast of the Twin Cities - Minneapolis / St Paul, MN. After getting home from my food challenge trip around Northern Indiana, northwest Ohio, Milwaukee (Wisconsin), and Rockford / Chicago, Illinois, I took a 2-week break at our home in Nashville, Tennessee, and then I flew back up to Minneapolis, Minnesota, so I could attempt a few more Minnesota restaurant food challenges before meeting up with some of my high school friends for our annual "Broski Weekend" trip, somewhere around the USA. For man vs food eating challenge #1 of five, I headed to Hoppers Bar & Grill in Waconia, MN which is to the southwest of the Twin Cities - Minneapolis / St Paul, MN. My original goal was to attempt their base "Belt Buster" Bacon Double Cheeseburger Challenge which involves eating just TWO (2) of Hoppers' "Belt Buster" bacon double cheeseburgers, each served on a plate with 1 lb of crinkle-cut fries. When I got there, Dan (one of the owners) let me know that I could attempt three of the burger platters, which hadn't been done in over 16 years, dating back to 2008 when a pro eater named Patrick ate three platters in around 50 minutes, total. I was feeling good, after a 2-week break, so I decided to try it!! I had 60 minutes (1 hour) to eat three "Belt Buster" bacon double cheeseburgers, each served with one pound of crinkle-cut fries. Finish the base challenge (two) and win the $45 burgers and fries meal free, a sweet t-shirt, a Certificate of Completion, and a spot on Hoppers Bar's Wall of Fame. Finish three and get some extra Hoppers merch, along with a $100 cash incentive!!
