Mandible is the lowe jaw. It's fractures are common. In this case a Pitbull dog was presented to our clinics with drooling of lower jaw with history of fight with another Pitbull dog. Dog was unable to eat and emaciated. first we give intravenous fluid and injection for recovery of general condition after that we took pre-operative radiograph and we planned for surgery on that day. we give dog to preanaesthetics - xylazine @1 mg/kg body weight along with 0.2 ml atropine. After that we initiated anesthesia with help of ketamine @5mg/ kg body weight and we also maintain the anaesthesia on ketamine. we applied ESF (external skeleton fixation) technique for fixation of management. After 12 hr of surgery Animal was able to eat soft food. We did daily dressing of surgical wound and give NSAIDS for 3 days and Antibiotics (Ceftriaxone with tazobactam @ 20 mg/kg body weight for 5 days. We also give calcium supplementation and multivitamin supplements for 2-3 week. We removed ESF assembly after 1 month of operative.
