I been wanting Lithium ion Rechargeable Battery in AA and AAA size ( https://amzn.to/2VsisrX ) that can be recharged by USB cable. I finally got a set of AA and AAA for fun. This is a good idea for traveling light or to avoid bringing a large charger with you on vacation trip. Visit: https://www.amazon.com/shop/sterlingw Lithium ion Rechargeable Battery in AA and AAA size ( https://amzn.to/2VsisrX ) takes about 1 hour to charge from USB C cable. The out put is 1.5 volts. The capacity is rated in mWh rather than mAh, that beening said when caluculating the conversion. the AA battery has a capacity of 1733 mAh and the AA has a capacity of 367 mAh. Much less than my Nimh batteries. Overall it works and is portable enough to carry the charge cable and spare batteries on a trip or if you ran out of power and needed to charge via usb this would be very convenient, even with less capacity than my 2000 mAh NimH batteries.
