Spice-based vegetables, 1 tsp vegetable oil, 1 onion, thinly sliced, 4 bell peppers, thinly sliced, ½ tsp paprika powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, salt to taste. Tortillas (22cm x 5 pieces): 210g plain flour + 20g for dusting, 3g salt, ½ tsp (2g) baking powder, 35ml Salad oil 120ml warm water Others 1 avocado 1 and a half lettuce (sunny lettuce, etc.) 1 teaspoon Pokka lemon 100g shredded cheese Salt to taste Black pepper to taste 📝 [Procedure] Preparing vegetables 1. Slice the onion horizontally into thin slices about 4mm thick. 2. Cut the bell pepper in half, remove the seeds and pulp, and slice into 4mm thin slices. 3. Heat oil in a frying pan, add the vegetables and salt, and fry for about 6 to 8 minutes. 4. When the vegetables have softened a little and started to color, turn off the heat, add the spices, and mix well. Transfer to a bowl and leave to cool. Cover with plastic wrap and return to the refrigerator until ready to use. Preparing the lettuce 1. Wash the lettuce thoroughly and drain well. 2. Cut into strips 5mm wide. How to make the tortillas 1. Put the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl and mix well. 2. Make a well in the center, add the oil and water and mix to form a dough. 3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 2 minutes until smooth. 4. Divide the dough into 5 equal parts and roll them into balls. Lightly press each one down to make them flat. 5. Cover with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel and let rest for 15 minutes to 1 hour. 6. Heat a frying pan over medium-low heat. Spread a little oil evenly with a paper towel. 7. Roll out the dough into 20-22cm circles and fry each one in the frying pan. 8. Fry the first side for 45 seconds to 1 minute, and when it puffs up and is lightly browned, flip it over and fry for 15-20 seconds. 9. Once cooked, stack the pieces and cover with a kitchen towel to prevent them from drying out. How to roll a burrito 1. Place the tortilla on a cutting board. 2. Spread the avocado on top. 3. Place the ground chicken, vegetables, cheese, and lettuce in that order. 4. Fold both ends inwards and roll up from the bottom to seal. Storage Wrap the burrito in parchment paper, plastic wrap, or aluminum foil. You can store it in the fridge for up to 4 days or in the freezer for up to 2 months. Defrost it in the fridge before serving and warm it up in a 500W microwave for 90 seconds.
