Beer Review 214: Wanderlust India Pale Ale - Breakside Brewing

Wanderlust IPA Breakside Brewing Company - Portland, Oregon Style: American IPA ABV: 6.6% IBUs: 50 Clear golden to amber, bubbles rising up on the side of the glass to form a two-finger head. The hand hangs around through the end leaving loads of beautiful lacing. The aroma hits you as soon as you pop the cap. The smell and taste are one in the same. Big, bold and bright hop aromas of sweet grapefruit, pithy grapefruit, grapefruit rind, juicy orange, tangerine, light pine, hint of lemon and pineapple. The base malt is very good, a light caramel with what tastes like some biscuit malts. But the flavors are lightly sweet, very bright in taste ... I immediately fell in love with this beer. This is now a year round offering from Breakside Brewing and one that I will seek out often!
