Don’t think twice, it’s all right by Bob Dylan I got a new guitar and thought this song could be a good fit. The song I went with today is Don't Think Twice, it's Alright by Bob Dylan. When I think of 000 style guitars I think of legends like Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton or more recent artists like John Mayer. Interesting, according to The Chicago Music Exchange, Bod Dylan wasn't very keen on sunburst guitars. Come to think of it, you don’t see many artists with sunburst guitars. Have you ever seen the John Mayer Special Edition Martin guitar? That’s technically a grey sunburst I suppose. This guitar is a Martin 000-17 whiskey sunset. It came with Martins "retro' strings. Not my choice of strings but before I change them out I thought the sound could suit this song. It doesn't have any internal pick ups but it's so bright that the microphone picked up the sound of the guitar way more than expected. Not sure if I want to add a pick up or go for one of those clip on instrument mics.
