Why are Schmincke Watercolors So Good? | Painting with LOVE

This presentation is about Schmincke Horadam Aquarelle paints and the question that is most frequently asked about them: "What makes Schmincke so much better than other brands?" Well, for starters, painting with Schmincke watercolors, for me, is like painting with love, itself. They are serious, yet playful; complex, yet fun; subtle yet intense. But, they come with a very hefty price tag which may keep a lot of people from even considering them. In the video, I discuss my relationship with these paints, their history, and why the process of making them – since the 1800's – is important. Thanks to Tracy for asking about the the 12 colors I added to this set, which I've listed below. I may swap out the Gold & Silver for another purple and red, which seem light in the set. 1.
