We recommend - a 65lb braid, then a top shot of 40lb Fluorocarbon. The top shot should be at least 4-5ft and if the bite gets tough change fluoro to 30lb. Don’t need any mono because it doesn’t cut through kelp and it will drag and slow the bait down.
