Pakistan training ISKP operatives | India’s intel reveals 4 secret camps in Pakistan

Indian intelligence agencies have revealed that Pakistan has established four training camps to prepare Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) operatives, posing a potential major threat to India. Officials stated that Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is reportedly training over 1,000 ISKP members in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, initially targeting the Afghan Taliban and later diverting some towards Jammu and Kashmir. The report highlights growing ties between Pakistan and ISKP, following tensions between Islamabad and the Afghan Taliban over the Durand Line border dispute. Sources added that retired and serving Pakistan Army officers are actively training these operatives in combat and high-intensity missions. Authorities have also warned of ISI attempts to recruit and radicalise Indian nationals. Security agencies pointed out that at least 21 individuals from Kerala had earlier joined ISKP and received training in Pakistan.
