Literacy sits at the center of learning, opportunity, and long-term success. In this conversation, Dr. Sandra Lee reflects on what the science of reading has made clear and why translating that knowledge into consistent experiences for children remains a challenge. The discussion explores how coherence, shared understanding, and follow-through shape reading instruction across classrooms, schools, and communities. This episode centers literacy as a shared responsibility and invites listeners to consider what alignment looks like when everyone involved in a child’s learning is working from the same evidence and purpose.
