More big steps forward this week. In this episode, we run the first fix of our wiring and install our water filler cap (cutting a fresh hole in the van). Then we get started on the frame and support structure for our bed, fixing large mounting blocks to the sides (to go with IKEA Skorva mid beams), before moving on to the wall panelling at the back of the van. We also build some clever inset wall boxes to make the most of tight spaces. These will be great for storage and to house hidden LED lighting later on. Nice to finally be working with some wood.
