The best things to do in Walvis Bay are starting your day off with a Catamaran Cruise with Champagne and Oysters on the Atlantic ocean, looking for wales, dolphins, pelicans and seals. Make your booking in advance to avoid disappointment, AND SADC members get discounts. The cruise is 4 hours and includes coffee and tea on arrival and seals accompanying you on your boat. The 2nd amazing thing to do is to drive past the Pink Lake and spend a few hours on Pelican Point between thousands of seals. Just deflate your tires and stay on the tracks, and you don't need to go with a travel guide. We ended the day watching the sunset from the dunes behind Langstrand.
