You know, the more I delve into classic films and the Old Hollywood era, the more I become fascinated with it. There was so much class and elegance back then. The men were just so handsome and charming and polite and the women were incredibly stunning and elegant. For that reason, I wanted to make a video using just candid footage of actors and actress of that period to kinda show them as they were, outside of the Hollywood glamour. All the footage I used in the video was taken from several videos I found on YouTube, so if you wanna know where I got a specific clip from, let me know and I'll send you a link. I decided not to use any coloring because I wanted to mantain the rawness of the clips and their Old Hollywood feel. Also, there are a few things I found out while making this video that I think it's important for you to know. #1. Clark Gable and Carole Lombard were the cutest couple ever. #2. Laurence Olivier was incredibly attractive and had amazing facial features (no, I hadn't noticed that before). #3. Clark Gable has dimples (I hadn't noticed that either). #4. I was born on the wrong decade. _______________________________________________ ►PEOPLE INCLUDED: Ava Gardner, Frank Sinatra, Rita Hayworth, James Stewart, Gregory Peck, Claudette Colbert, Peter Lawford, Grace Kelly, Van Johnson, James Dean, Betty Hutton, Myrna Loy, Betty Grable, Lana Turner, Hedy Lamarr, Rock Hudson, Clark Gable, Joan Crawford, Natalie Wood, Lauren Bacall, Marlon Brando, Montgomery Clift, Joan Fontaine, Elizabeth Taylor, Carole Lombard, Tony Curtis, Irene Dunne, Jean Harlow, Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Gene Kelly, Lucille Ball, Audrey Hepburn, Laurence Olivier, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, Vivien Leigh, Marlene Dietrich, Spencer Tracy, Tyrone Power, Norma Shearer, Gary Cooper, Dean Martin, Jane Powell, June Allyson, Ronald Reagan, Eleanor Powell, Esther Williams. Now, there's 2 actresses in that video that I have absolutely no idea who they are (forgive me, I'm new to the Classic Hollywood world), but I thought I'd included them anyway to make the tribute more complete. I might have heard their names, though, I just don't know them by face. But if you do know who they are, please let me know. They appear at 00:32 and 01:01. EDIT: A very kind person pointed out to me that the actress at 00:32 is Betty Hutton, but I still don't know who the girl at 01:01 is, so if you know who she is, please let me know. _______________________________________________ ►ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Song: "Smile" by Nat King Cole.
