This round of the Dance Central 2 Choreographer Series with @RiffraffDC and @euthanasian brings you "Satellite" on Hard for Dance Central 2 and Xbox 360 Kinect, choreographed by Spikey Soria (@MsFierce321)! Summed Up: Spikey has never backed down from doing complex, emotive choreography, and "Satellite" is representative of that. What more can I say about this routine that hasn't already been opined by every single Dance Central 2 fan who's not only played this track for themselves, but requested I do a gameplay video for it as well? (I still have a solo video in the works for it!) Spikey has put together a solid routine for Lena's smash Euro hit that's emotional without being trite and challenging but never to the point of frustration. The fact that many of the moves during the verses are lyrical rather than beat driven can be potentially complicated for gamers new to dancing, which is probably why this is ranked 7 out of 7 stars for difficulty. In addition, many of the moves outside of the chorus are unique to the song lyrics and don't repeat, making practicing them during Break It Down mode all the more necessary. Routines like this are a good reason to do the song in progression from Easy to Hard, so you can master the simpler moves before taking on the trickier ones. Spikey's routine to "Only Girl (In the World)" ( • Dance Central 2 - Only Girl (In The World)... ) has been out for a while now, and presuming the trend she's established with studio-grade choreography continues, I'm really excited to see what she comes up with for her next project! Many thanks are due to @euthanasian and Harmonix Project Director @mattboch for starting the discussion, which led to the eventual execution of these Dance Central Choreographer Series battles! With these videos, we not only get to highlight Dance Central's unsung masters, but we get to show off how much fun Dance Battling really is! I'm on Twitter!
