Is Canggu, Bali INDONESIA Worth Visiting in 2022? | Best Things To Do In Canggu We ALMOST didn't go to Canggu (Bali), because we had heard such mixed reviews about it, but we decided to check it out anyway. We knew it would be epic for vegan food, but we were also told it was GREAT for kids, and despite the beach being considered "too rough" for some, it reminded us so much of a west coast beach from home (New Zealand)! We saved our trip to Tanah Lot until we were in Canggu (as its only a 20 minute drive from there), and Josh got some amazing shots of it at high tide with the drone. Unfortunately we couldn't actually walk over to Tanah Lot, but seeing the waves crash around it was so beautiful and dramatic so we didn't mind.
