In this video I will be making Ilish Bhuna. Leave a like and a comment with any questions or suggestions you may have. INGREDIENTS • 50ml oil • 600g ilish mas • 1 1/4tsp salt • 1tsp turmeric powder • 2tbsp onion & garlic paste • Onion & Garlic Paste | Aysha's Food D... • 1tbsp crushed garlic • 1/2tsp ginger paste • 1tsp coriander powder • 1tsp cumin powder • 1tsp chilli powder • 1/2tsp kashmiri chilli powder • 1/2 cup water • 1tbsp mustard paste • 2 cups water • 5 finger chillies METHOD • Marinate the ilish mas with half a teaspoon of turmeric powder and a quarter of a teaspoon of salt for 20 minutes. • Shallow fry the ilish mas on high heat for 4 minutes. • Transfer the oil to a large pot and add the onion & garlic paste and fry on medium heat for 2 minutes. • Add the crushed garlic and ginger and fry on low heat for 2 minutes. • Then add the salt and powder spices and a little water and cover on low heat for 3 minutes. • Add the mustard paste and cook for a minute, then add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil • add the fried ilish and the finger chillies and cover on medium heat for 3 minutes. ✓ I N S T A G R A M / ayshasfooddiary Hi I'm Aysha, thank you for watching.
