A thriving workspace for innovation, St John's Innovation Centre is the first and oldest innovation centre in Europe to focus on supporting knowledge-based businesses. St John’s Innovation Centre exists to provide a dynamic & supportive incubation environment to accelerate the growth of ambitious innovative firms in the Cambridge region. St John’s Innovation Centre was established by St John’s College, part of the University of Cambridge in 1987 as part of St John’s Innovation Park, the Centre now hosts a number of knowledge companies and professional services firms. The site (wholly-owned by St John’s College, Cambridge, since 1534) provides a campus setting close to both the city centre as well as the guided bus route and train station for commuting.
