Last flight of the day, a 1hr 30min connection between the Toki Air ATR42-600 flight from Niigata. A nice little airport, with only one restaurant and one shop. (That sold alcohol thankfully) in the departures area. Kobe Airport is a man made island in Osaka Bay, a bit windy (as to be expected being on the sea) and a large airfield. Kobe is dominated by Skymark Airlines, and a couple of GA fixed and helicopters. A busy airspace with Osaka Kansai airport to the south on the other side of the bay (these arrivals cross over the airfield at about 5000ft) and Osaka Itami airport to the east. A nice take off and interesting SID. Was hoping for one of the Pokémon aircraft, but no luck. Lots of leg room on the Skymark's 737-800, wide leather seats and very friendly staff. Free soft drink and snack onboard; they even sell the Pokémon aircraft souvenirs inboard Enjoy.
