Let us take you for an epic ride through Glen Coe. (we are going to test our DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro camera attached to the windscreen) Enjoy an epic ambient music in the background and amazing views of Scottish Highlands. This is full drive video from Loch Tulla Viewpoint to Glencoe Visitor Centre. We will stop by at the Kingshouse Hotel car park to watch majestic deer stags. At the Glencoe Visitor Centre we will show you the turf and creel house. This turf, wattle, daub, and thatch structure was built over a year in 2021 and uses traditional materials, tools and techniques. It was constructed, after much local and period research by the National Trust for Scotland, working with a team of skilled craftspeople. The footprint of the building has been taken from survey work at the former township of Achtriachtan in Glencoe east of the visitor centre. It is based on one of the late 17th-century dwellings excavated by the trust’s archaeologists and volunteers. This is our longest video so far, but remember, patience pays off.
