In which the Mister joins me in reviewing GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN, DON'T DIE (2026), from writer Matthew Robinson, the film is directed by Gore Verbinski.  A manic time traveler (Sam Rockwell) from a dystopian future crashes into a Los Angeles diner to recruit a specific team of "unqualified" patrons for a high-stakes mission.  The mismatched group—which includes a grieving mother, two cynical schoolteachers, and a woman in a princess outfit—must navigate a surreal, six-block urban gauntlet to stop a rogue artificial intelligence from reaching a world-ending singularity.  As they battle phone-addicted hordes and reality-bending obstacles, the team is forced to confront their own digital fixations in a desperate race to prevent a future where humanity is lost to the machine.  The film clocks in at 2 h and 14 m, is rated R and is currently in theaters.  Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
