Walkerville Heritage Conservation District (WHCD) Stage 2 Public Kick-Off Event

The City of Windsor is pleased to launch the Walkerville Heritage Conservation District (WHCD) Stage 2 study project. The Walkerville HCD Study is composed of background and historical research, inventory of heritage resources in Walkerville, discussions on the Walkerville boundary and how the community would like to maintain/recognize the heritage in Walkerville. On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the City of Windsor along with our consultants Dr. Marcus Letourneau and Dr. Carl Bray, hosted an in-person public engagement kick-off event at Willistead Manor. The event included a review of the results of the WHCD Study (Stage 1) and outline potential elements of the WHCD Plan & Guidelines (Stage 2).
