Mut'ah is clearly a sensitive topic for some- we regularly find Twelver Shias engaging in and then attempting to justify this haram (impermissible) practice. They are offended when Mut'ah is deemed as fornication (zina) and are under the impression that this expression was recently adopted by Sunnis to malign Twelver Shias who are engaged in mut'ah. In this video we will address the misconceptions of Twelver Shias in three ways: 1. There are reliable reports in Sunni book from members of Ahlelbayt and the Sahaba, that they deemed Mutah as fornication. 2. It’s not just Sunnis who deem Mutah as Zina, but even some well known Shia Sects deem Mutah as Zina. 3. The reason behind Mutah being declared Zina.
