Welcome to the wild and unpredictable lands of Kacha — an area often known for bandits, lawless stories, and riverine forests… but for us, it’s something much more important. It’s our land. 🌾 This adventure starts with a car journey to Peer Hussain Abad, and from there, a 10-minute bike ride deep inside the Kacha — where there are no paved roads, no signals, and no guarantees. Just raw nature and thrill at every turn. Located near Guddu Barrage and close to Kashmore, this region is famous for its riverine belt along the Indus. Every summer, floodwaters reshape the land. Yet, these same fertile soils make it extremely valuable for wheat production. 🌾 Why do we go there? Because our wheat crop grows in these very fields. Inspection isn’t optional — it’s necessary. These lands are a major source of our harvest and livelihood. 🔥 But this trip wasn’t just about farming… We cooked fresh fish, made chicken in traditional style, and enjoyed tea with local friends right in the middle of nowhere. No restaurants. No luxury. Just friendship, firewood, and the open sky. 🌱 Last year, we tried planting trees near our farmhouse in Kacha. But survival here isn’t easy. Goats and sheep often eat young plants before they grow, and the harsh floods test everything that stands in their way. This is the real Sindh — untamed, risky, beautiful, and full of life.
