The best house tune of all time : Rhythm On The Loose - Break of Dawn I bought this 12" in 1991 from Billy Nasty in Zoom records, Camden NW1 Contains sample from 'Let No Man Put Asunder' by First Choice I heard this for the first time in Naked Lunch @ Dri'z club (Kingly St W1). the DJ dropped it from the T-O-P and everyone looked up thinking 'what is this one?' I was thus moved forever. Great strings intro, awesome vocals and a beautiful bass line. What an outro too - NO MAN IN THE WORLD CAN LET GO OF THIS! Why is the record label called THE ONE AFTER D? Have a guess... Rhythm On The Loose - "Break of Dawn" is widely regarded as one of house music's timeless classics. Produced by Geoff Hibbert, the track was inspired by a sunrise he witnessed on the Italian coastline. Drawing creative influence from Moby's iconic "Go" and the disco anthem "Let No Man Put Asunder" by First Choice, Hibbert crafted a heartfelt tribute to the UK rave scene. To build anticipation, Network launched a sub-label, The One After D, releasing a limited edition pressing of the track. One of the first copies landed in the hands of Kevin Saunderson, whose constant support and DJ sets helped spark its interest across the USA.
