We remove the transmission and transfer case from a 2008 Lexus GX470 in order to access the rear main seal on the engine. The real leaking seal is the small O-ring above the seal on the mounting plate. Many people make mistake of only doing the RMS and not the O-ring. See the list of parts and tools needed below.
