Grey heron (Ardea cinerea) caught on wildlife camera just after it snatched a frog from our garden pond in Denmark. The pond was dug to give room for different amphibians and for the birds and wildlife to have a place to get water. However, occasionally it turns into a little buffet, especially for the grey heron which is one of the more common wading birds in Denmark. Here the heron has caught a frog, but it will also take both amphibians, fish, crustaceans, insects.
