Directed Jon Hanusa Art Direction, Illustration, Animation - Eric Arsnow Director of Photography - Justin Propp Character Design and Illustration - Brian Ellis Music Recorded by - Eric Arsnow Mixed By - Paul Meyer Mastered By - Justin Perkins at Mystery Room Mastering Milwaukee-based garage rockers Devils Teeth summon us out of the garage and into the desert in the video for "Ride of the Devils Teeth," the first single off their forthcoming album, La leggenda di Chong Li. The album unspools a new cinematic narrative of Chong Li, the antagonist of the film Bloodsport, and "Ride of the Devils Teeth" is just one reel in this saga. Astride his galloping horse, confronting a lava demon and other dastardly desert foes, Chong Li asks himself the eternal question: Will the power of rock and roll be enough to save him? Comprised of guitarist/vocalist Jon Hanusa (Jonny Canine, Jonny Glissando), bassist/vocalist Eric Arsnow (Eric Incisor, Erico Bello), percussionist/drummer Chuck Engel (Chuck Molar, Chazz Bolognese), and saxophonist Caleb Westphal (il Snaggletoots), Devils Teeth generally pull inspiration from artists such as Dick Dale, Man or Astro-Man?, and The Sonics, but reach beyond their surf/garage/punk roots with La leggenda di Chong Li, infusing those elements with inspiration from Spaghetti Western soundtracks and Bloodsport. Devils Teeth proudly invites you on their cinematic journey. Roll the tape.
