Maybe it's my love for simplicity that has made it an easy pick for me, I sometimes look for cars for a specific reason, and here it's mainly because I felt like it is not getting enough attention. This is one of the most detailed reviews I have done (Take note of "review" and not "walkaround & features"). I had more time with the car so I shared a lot of my opinion in the video. The challenge I mentioned in the video is quite real and I think the "traditional" luxury car manufacturers need to be aware of this phenomenon. The real reason for unbundling in packages is so that one can choose what they want and base things on their budgets but psychologically consumers are processing it differently and it's hurting them. The standard car price of the GLB is not far off from the likes of Hyundai Santa Fe, New Kia Sorento, and even the Peugeot 5008. All these cars come with a host of features and people are starting to gravitate towards them as alternatives to what we used to regard as luxury. The engines are not far off but you can still feel that the engineering behind all the skin is still superior and so far that is almost the only thing left to convince a buyer to get something like a Mercedes GLB.
