This sock knitting project is great for beginners or those who are looking for a way to make their first pair of socks without the challenge of knitting in rounds. It is also a very relaxing and fun project to work on if you have been knitting for a long time, too. This is Part 7 where you will work to shape the toe part of the sock. In the next video, you will work on sewing and finishing the project. Materials I used for this project are: Wool Ease yarn made by @LionBrandYarn and 3.5 mm knitting needles made by @addi-nadeln If you have been wanting to knit your first pair of socks, but don't feel ready to knit in the round, this project will be a great place to start. This pair of cozy warm socks is knitted on 2 single pointed needles and sewn in the finishing process. It will let you become very familiar with the shaping of a basic sock pattern without the intimidation of knitting in rounds. Many people find it easy to move on to more complicated patterns worked in rounds once they finish a project like this one. 00:00 Intro 00:29 Decrease Row 1 03:49 Purl Row 05:15 Decrease Row 2 06:44 Purl Row 07:54 Decrease Row 3 09:07 Purl Row 10:03 Decrease Row 4 11:08 Purl Row 11:47 Decrease Row 5 12:43 Purl Row 13:22 Decrease Row 6 14:12 Purl Row 14:57 Cast Off 17:42 Closing
