The creation of Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center was inspired by a local story of child abuse. The child at the center of the case, Sasha Joseph Neulinger, went on to become a director and has produced a documentary recounting his personal story. The critically acclaimed piece, Rewind Documentary, explores the consequences of child sexual abuse through Sasha's personal childhood videos. Today, Mission Kids' Board Member, Walt hunter interviewed Sasha, along with CEO, Abbie Newman about the impact his courage in sharing his story has had on the thousands of children who have benefited from the creation of a child advocacy center like Mission Kids.
