It's been a really long time since I've seen such a wholesome, fleshed out and healthy ship on TV - let alone one that is a wlw ship. To get a ship that is not only interracial & between two women but that is also so healthy, where they talk about their feelings, where the angst is normalized and not in a way that can become toxic is such an amazing thing. Kat and Adena's relationship truly has touched me. They have gone from being together, to being long distance friends and lovers to being together again. Their love for one another truly is palpable in every single scene. I feel so touched and emotional with every single one of their scenes that I watch, with every episode of TBT that I see. Their characters are so similar yet so different but in a way that makes them so perfect for one another. I truly cannot wait to see what the next episodes and the next series of TBT holds for these two. I hope it holds good things because they really are one of the very few beautiful, raw, honest, healthy and strong wlw ships on TV right now. We need a couple like these two to show people that love is not dependent on where the person is, how many relationships the person has been in and how many arguments you have with one another. Love is love and that is that. God. These two, they truly are made for one another. Also, if none of this description made sense it's because it's 2am, I'm on pain meds and I'm incredibly emotional because of Kadena.
