The treatment consists of the placement of 1 or 2 implants of a length greater than the conventional ones, which are anchored in the zygomatic bone or cheekbone. These implants can be complemented with conventional implant placement if the remaining bone is sufficient. Once the implants have been placed, they can be restored with a fixed prosthesis, in the same way as if they were conventional implants. How is the treatment with zygomatic implants performed?
