Whether you’re packing up to head home or moving to another camping destination, knowing how to tear down your campsite can help you make an easy transition, no matter where you’re off to next. Here are a few things to keep in mind when it’s time to pack up your RV site 🧳 🔐 Pack up your outdoor chairs, patio decor, and other exterior camping equipment. It’s a good idea to check your outdoor area more than once to ensure you don’t leave any items behind. Once you’ve packed up all of your items, securely latch your storage bays so they don’t pop open on the road. 🚰 Turn off your water, relieve pressure in your lines, and remove water from your toilet by flushing it after your water system is turned off. 🍽️ Stow away or secure any loose exterior items that could be damaged during travel.
