Since uploading my video, Mei-Lin has let me know that the paper isn't coated! This journal performed really well in my watercolour test • ULTIMATE watercolour test in 8 different d... I'm always on the lookout for journals that have a different feature that makes them different from other journals, and the Takkti journal has multiple. While you may not be able to get the exact cover design that I had in the video (it was a limited edition), the other Takkti designs are beautiful as well, so please have a look. The ivory paper is 135gsm and the black paper is 120gsm - you'll be impressed with the results. It's made with a special technique where the machines press on it so hard that it gets very smooth. And if you're interested, the photos in the video are mostly from a trip I did in Eastern Europe, and include scenes from Austria and Budapest in Hungary. There might be one from Slovakia as well. I cover EVERYTHING in my review: the packaging, construction, pen test, watercolour; but I also talk about the company, customer service, where to buy, and environmental performance. I make sure I have a good idea of the journal's performance with my own spreads before doing a 'full review' like this one. This video should answer all your important questions. 1:52 environment 3:26 features 7:41 pen test 10:27 watercolour 11:33 blackout 15:25 conclusion See the detailed specifications of this journal at https://theusefuljournal.com/product/... where you can also select your favourite journals to compare their details.
