Good people, Looking for some help here to help me out to identify the root cause of the micro and macro stuttering I'm experiencing, for that purpose I recorded some videos with both Afterburner and Presentmon sensor data, so perhaps someone with the knowledge, based on the numbers/graphs can give me a clue of what is going on with my system, whether it is hardware, software, or a combination of both, before I proceed to swap physical components or initiate an RMA if necessary. The stuttering (micro, macro, and everything in between) only occurs during gaming sessions especially in flight simulators. I started noticing this with IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles I had no other software installed before encountering this issue, apart from peripheral drivers (joysticks, TrackIR). The problem was already present, so it’s unlikely to be related to Steam, other games or any benchmarking tools I installed for checking the issue afterwards. In DCS World the issues are even worse rendering the game almost unplayable. At the end of this description you'll find a list of recordings I made to illustrate/compare different game scenerios and benchmarking tools. Steps I’ve Already Tried: -- Adjusted BIOS settings, including enabling/disabling fTPM, XMP, Resizable BAR and clearing CMOS. Performed a clean installation of Windows 10 (also tested with Windows 11 Pro, but the issue persists). Installed chipset drivers directly from the motherboard manufacturer. Changed PCI Power Management settings. Disabled the NVIDIA audio device Turned off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Lowered all in-game graphical settings to minimum. Switched to a 27" HDMI monitor (1920x1080), which resulted in worse stuttering. What I suspect: -- RAM incompatibility, the RAM I bought is not in the Qualified Vendor List, I haven't experienced any blue screens or system instability so far, just the stuttering. The sticks are configured in dual-channel mode correctly. Defective SSD,* I encountered similar issues years ago with my old PC with a SATA SSD. I installed the game on both the NVMe 1TB system SSD and the NVMe 2TB storage SSD. I noticed that the 2TB SSD performed slightly worse. However, I ran the WD Drive Utilities on both disks, and no errors were detected. I'm cursed by an evil spirit.
