Is MORECAMBE really that BAD? We find out…

This week, we head up north and visit the beautiful seaside town of Morecambe. Once a destination for Victorian holidaymakers, the town is now one of the most deprived in the country, which is reason enough to put many people off visiting. We ask the question, though, should it? On a well-known online review website, the statue to Eric Morecambe (a famous British comedy double-act performing for five decades) is listed as the best place to visit in the town. There's a lot more to Morecambe than many other YouTube videos would have you believe, and we're here to show you exactly that, as we walk the mile or so between Heysham and Morecambe, discovering ancient stone graves, hundreds of years of history and some beautiful architecture along the way.
