So, I was talking on the phone to my friend, Jose, when I asked him to quickly tell me the months of the year in English. He was quite nervous and even skipped a few months. Jose is a native Spanish speaker from Mexico. So by asking him to say the months in English I sort of put him on the spot. But he speaks English well!!! So, I thought it should have been an easy task for him. It wasn't so easy. However, thanks to his cooperation I learned some important struggles Spanish speakers face when saying the months of the year. Next time I put him on the spot (after watching this video) I expect him to recite the months of the year with ease! And so should you!
