👉Wacky Window Woman Price Comparison Chart for Homeowners: https://wackywindowwoman.com/comparis... Contact Joe: JoeVirtualView@gmail.com Pella was the tenth replacement window company we invited into our home for a quote on our 12 builder-grade windows. Hi Friends! I’m the Wacky Window Woman – I’m not a contractor and I don’t sell windows, I’m just a homeowner who needed to replace hers. Be sure to check out the Wacky Window Woman Price Comparison Chart (link in description) to see how replacement window companies stack up when comparing price, warranty, and energy efficiency ratings. Ultimately, we chose Virtual View Windows because of their affordable pricing, slim-profile Alside Mezzo Quattro windows, and the ability to do everything virtually – from quote to contract. Our Pella appointment was with “Pete” from Pella Windows and Doors of Central Ohio. He was friendly, professional, and gave us a thorough demonstration of Pella’s vinyl, wood, and fiberglass options, including their Low-E glass packages – the “Advanced” double-coating and the “Sun Defense” triple-coating. For our project of 12 windows, the quote came in at $21,261 for double-pane (around $1,772 per window) with an additional $1,900 for triple-pane. That placed Pella #7 out of 10 in terms of price, making them one of the most expensive options we reviewed, even though their delivery timeline of 5–8 weeks was the fastest. While we were impressed with Pete’s presentation and the Pella showroom in Polaris, Ohio, the windows themselves didn’t stand out compared to other brands. The Energy Star 7.0, U-Factor, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient, and air infiltration ratings did not compete well with similarly priced windows, and even Pete admitted Pella struggles against competitors in energy performance. Their warranty is solid—lifetime on defects, parts, and hardware—but given the high price and average ratings, Pella didn’t make our top choice.
