It was recorded in the style of mid-20th century: in live takes, with traditional microphone set-up, on vintage equipment, finished with analog mastering. The record includes 19 tracks from various periods in a variety of styles and features the familiar, the forgotten and the rare. "My Dusty Gramophone" is a nostalgic trip in time- to the days when the great violinists Jascha Heifetz and David Oistrakh ruled the world of records."
