EA Sports NHL '96 - All-star Season 1 Stars Game 4 | The Jets Fly in to Dallas to a Hard Landing

The Stars were at home again for Game 4 and it was the Winnipeg Jets stopping by. The 1st period was back-and-forth with Dallas getting most of the chances. The scoring started when Dave Gagner got credit for a Winnipeg own-goal when his blind backhander from the wing was lost into the net by Nikolai Khabibulin with 11:31 to go. About a minute later Ganger picked the bottom corner glove-side off a pass from Mike Modano. The Dallas crowd went crazy when Gagner finished off a natural hat-trick going 5-hole off a pass from Trent Klatt. The period ended with Dallas holding a coveted 3-goal lead at 3-0 and shots were DAL 20 and WPG 7. Winnipeg narrowed the shot gap and slowed down the Dallas scorers but Trent Klatt did manage to score with 1:00 left in the period sending a hard shot top-blocker-side from between the hashes off a pass from Modano. That sent Khabibulin to the bench with Tim Cheveldae replacing him. The 2nd period ended with Dallas up 4-0 and shots at DAL 34 and WPG 12. The 3rd period was a total stalemate so the Stars won 4-0 and Moog stopped everything to get a 24-save shut-out. Enjoy!
