This isn’t paranoia or anxiety. Law enforcement work trains the brain to notice movement, entrances, and positioning. After repeating those decisions thousands of times on duty, the behavior often continues off duty without realizing it. In this video I explain why officers choose certain seating positions, why it becomes automatic, and why it’s a normal adaptation to the profession.
