What did Australian school students learn about the Great War during the Great War? What do students learn about the war today? Dr Rosalie Triolo Faculty of Education, Monash University Rosalie is the History Method lecturer at Monash University and President of the History Teachers' Association of Victoria. Recent experiences include developing the 'Australian Curriculum: History' and framing AusVELS F-10 and VCE 11-12 for the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority. She is HTAV's delegate to HTAA and its delegate to the Australian Historical Association. Active in diverse state and national historico-cultural communities, she has produced numerous History/Humanities classroom, professional learning and scholarly works. Her thesis, 'Our Schools and the War', was awarded a Monash University Mollie Holman Medal; the book was 'Commended' in the 2012 Victorian Community History Publication awards.
