Today, we take a look at Donkey Kong Country all through the lens of its star: Donkey Kong! No Diddy Kong assistance, animal pals, bonus rooms, or shortcuts, just good ol' DK from start to finish. I played through the game 3 times this way in order to get my best assessment of how I'd rank these levels based on my experiences with the challenge. What are your favorite levels? What are the hardest for you? This was a great sendoff for DKC after 4 videos, now it's time to move onto the next series of videos for DKC2... and eventually, DKC3.... mixing in some Mario content in between.
