BUILDING FUTURE ENGINEERS

The Rwanda Education Board (REB) is spearheading initiatives to foster innovation, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning, and digital literacy in schools. The First Lego League (FLL) competition and the AI Hackathon represent two strategic initiatives aimed at nurturing the next generation of Rwandan scientists, engineers, and innovators. The FLL encourages students to engage in hands-on learning by building and programming robots to solve real-world challenges. Meanwhile, the AI Hackathon allows students to explore the growing field of artificial intelligence, empowering them to develop solutions to pressing societal problems through coding and machine learning. Together, these events will enhance STEM education and position Rwanda as a leader in technology-driven innovation in Africa.
