Pinetum Gardens

Pinetum Gardens is a 30 acre garden in St Austell in Mid Cornwall. The garden is a relatively new garden compared to many Cornish gardens, having been created over the last 40 years. The garden is family owned and consists of 10 different gardens. These gardens are the Arboretum, the Cornish cottage garden, the Courtyard garden, the Old Garden, the Sunken Garden, The Pinetum, the Water Garden, the Winter Garden, the Woodland Garden and my personal favourite, the Japanese Garden. Even though Pinetum Gardens are around 40 years old at most, the site is historic as the bottom of Pinetum Gardens was once a working mine known as South Cuddra Mine.
